I want to get such a coffee machine for dh for bday but want to know the best place to get these cups - thanks!

I ususally have good luck with amazon.com. Try Bed Bath and Beyond using a 20% off coupon. I feel like a good price is about 45-48cents/cup. Be careful to look at the number of cups per box....this can vary from retailer to retailer.

They also sell the container where you can put your regular favorite coffee with out the expense of the individual cups.. i use my dd french vanilla everyday and love it!! you can get the extra container at walmart, target and its usually around 15 bucks..

qvc tends to have good deals on the pot and they include a lot of extras, water filter, my k-cup, and usually comes with about 48 cups. My mom just bought myself, her and my brother the big one for xmas and I have not seen it cheaper anywhere (and the other stores never include extras). She also just bought my sister the small one and again you pay same price as everywhere else but it includes the extras. So price it out.

I usually buy them at BJs. I think its about $36 for 80 of them.

You can also buy the 'my k cup' where you put your own coffee in the plastic container. That costs around $18-$20 but comes in the box with some Keurig models.

My mom has the My K-Cup for her Keurig and it sucks. It spits water all over the place. No matter how she puts it in, it still spits water. She has given up using the Keurig because of that.

I read about something called My-Kaps. Basically, it's a lid for your k-cups. So, you can reuse them with your own coffee.

We have tried both the My K-cup and My-caps. They both leak and make very weak coffee. Very disappointing. Hoping they come out with a better system.

We have been getting our k-cups online from bigcatcoffee.com. Their prices are reasonable and they have free shipping on orders of $49. They also have great customer service. I had ordered a box of 50 k-cups that we didn't like at all (too bold). I was able to return them and exchange for another flavor.

Sometimes we'll buy them at Kohls when they are on sale and I have a 20-30% off coupon. Although at Kohls they only come in packs of 18.

You will love this machine!

I just read on another forum that you can reuse your k-cups by removing the foil top, dumping out the grounds, and let the filter inside dry out -- then put your own coffee in and cover the top with heavy duty aluminum foil (or double-fold regular foil). The person that posted said you can get up to 15 uses before the filter eventually tears. I haven't tried this method myself and don't know if it's worth the trouble but wanted to mention it in case anyone else wants to give it a whirl. :)

That's disappointing to hear about the My-Kaps. I'll have to let my DMom know. Thanks.

My K-Cup used to spit water everywhere as well, until I learned of the simple fix. The top needle on the inside of the Keurig has a little rubber gasket on it. If you slide it down the needle about half way it will seal around the top of the My K-Cup. I haven't had any problems since. If you use the packaged K-cups it will move the gasket back up, so you have to remember to slide it back down the next time you use the My K-Cup. Just be careful not to slide it off the needle. Hope this helps!

This is good to know. I will remember that next time I use it. I also find my coffee to be too weak if using my K cup, so I went back to buying the 80 pack at Sam's its about $32-33 I think for the Donut Shop (my favorite.) I remember Paul Newman brand being a little cheaper.

I just got caught up on organizing my coupons and realized that there is a $2 off Millstone coffe or K-cups coupon that expires 3/31. I was lucky to find a 12 pk of k-cups at a local store for $5.98 - $2= $3.98/12 kups. $.33 a k-cup. :surfweb: Not the best deal, but works for us! Hope this helps someone!!

Thanks for the tip! I'll let my DMom know. She received her Keuring and My K-cup as a gift and she'd really like to use it.

when kohls has their 30% off coupon (like the one that starts on the 26th )
i use that and often they have $10 kohls cash for every $50 you spend. Get a list from family/friends to get up to the $75 so you can get free ship.

By the time I figure in all the savings, I think it came down to 24 cents per cup

p.s. be careful of the dates, sometime they are short.

I love my Kuerig. I have bought some of the K Cups on Ebay as well. I have been able to get an assortment of coffee, tea & hot chocolate for pretty good prices sometimes. A lot of people will buy the big boxes then split then or sometimes someone buys a big box then doesn't like the flavor. This had made it easy to try a lot of flavors without investing in the big box.
