Where is parking for HRH?

Wondering where we will park while staying at the hotel. Is there a parking lot right there, or do we use the US parking garage. How easy is it to get to the car to go other places around the area? Do we have to walk through Citywalk, or is there a shuttle to the garage if this is where we park. Starting to think I should have stayed off site since we have to pay to park anyway. Really don't like to be that far from my car. I like to easily go when I feel like it.

If you're self - parking: after checking in, drive back toward the guard hut and turn left. (entering HRH driveway from the street, this parking lot is to the right.... after guard hut.)
Drive toward the back of this lot and you will be close to the Pool gate (kind of the back entry to the Hotel.... this is the path to the Parks' also).
Always had easy access to our car this way!

The HRH parking lot is right there at the hotel and very convenient. It is actually right behind Universal Studios. It is(or was this past summer) $5 per day to park and you pay as added on to you hotel bill. Walking to Universal Studios is easy and is closer than if you parked in the theme park garages. The HRH parking lot is not covered and even though there is security be warned to not keep valuable in your locked car.
Do not stay off site!!!
This is an incredible hotel and the proximity and benefits(FOTL) far exceed definition.

Thanks for the information. I feel a lot better. We are very excited to be able to stay at HRH. It took months to get a decent rate. Can't wait to take advantage of FOTL. Have to take a walk on the moving sidewalks at least once while we are there. Really will miss the airport. We always had a blast waiting for our flights. Oh well, a couple days in the car driving down will just be more "together" time!

Just to let you all know. I got back today, I was charged $6.00 per day to park at HRH. The first two days of my stay it was hard to find a spot, I had to wait for a space to open up but I was not going to pay to valet it! I guess I've been lucky because after 3 stays at HRH & 6 at PBH it's the first time we've been charged to park.
BTW, I also park by the back pool gate, it's really eay to get to your car there.

If you want to valet park at HRH, pull up to the circle and say that you want valet parking. Also mention that you are a hotel guest.

Personally, I like PBH parking over HRH. You get to park in a garage instead of a piece of concrete and parking spaces seem more plentiful than HRH. HRH's seems to be always full!

but we valet-parked (mainly because we got in so late the first night). We were only charged $12 total (2 nights), plus tips, and it just seemed well worth it. Every valet and bellboy we had gave excellent service and deserved a good tip, really.

You got lucky because it's $12.00 or $15.00 a day to valet plus tip! I would also do it if it was the same as self parking.
