Is it far? Do they have car rental places? If so, which ones? If not, d they have shuttles? How much would a taxi be from Ont to DL? What airlines fly there? How long is the drive? If I can get mch cheaper aifare there than Orange, do you recommend?
Thanks!

I've never been, but my cheapest airfare option by far was flying Southwest from Kansas City to the Ontario airport. We'll arrive at the Ontario airport at 4:30pm on Monday, December 10th.

I assume SuperShuttle does run from the Ontario airport, since it is a selectable option on their website (www.supershuttle.com).

The Ontario airport web site (http://www.lawa.org/ont/) is a good resource for your questions. They do have rental car places: http://www.lawa.org/ont/carRentals.cfm

Google Maps says it is a 35.6 mile drive to Disneyland, which can be done in about 43 minutes, but may take as much as 1 hour 20 minutes in traffic (which we'll likely encounter due to our arrival time).

Did you check long beach it is closer then ontario and lax.

We flew into Ontario when we went to DL. It is a nice airport and is easy to get in and out of. It was a quick drive from the airport to DL (just use Mapquest for directions) and we didn't run into heavy traffic.

They do have rental cars but I am not sure which companies are there. We used Alamo on our trip and you can get great prices if you are a Costco member.

Hope this helps!

I did. Ontario was the cheapest by far for the four LA-area airports (flying Southwest from KC to LA, avoiding Sunday and Friday travel, which is priced higher). After taxes and fees, it was ~$82 each way, per person.

Priceline your rental car and save tons I got one for 16 bucks a day $127.31 tax and everything for 7 days.

Been thorugh Ontario many, many times. Yes, if you find a great airfare deal, I recommend it. It's a great little airport, easy to get around both in and out.

Yes, they do have car rental companies there. It's a very easy commute to the DLR, and we've never had problems with heavy traffic either (not to say that traffic problems couldn't happen though). It takes us 35 minutes to commute between Ontario and DLR (non-rush hour).

A taxi would be expensive, and after paying round trip taxi fare, you might as well of rented a car instead (if you get what I mean).:)

This map will show you were DLR is in relation to the "nearby" airports. (You can find it in the FAQ sticky at the top of the board, under the map link)

I'm using Ontario airport next month. Supershuttle 'does' go to DLR,the fare is $41.00 each way for the first person + less for each person after that.

Do you have an Entertainment book (2007 or 2008)? If so, there's a SuperShuttle coupon in there for $2 off per person, each way.
