We have been for the last 3 NYEs to wdw. Dinner choices have been linked to where we want to be for NYE. We never go to MK because it has closed to all guest by 10am each year-hence no park hopping or late entry there. We have eaten at Teppanyaki one year, starting the day at DHS then going to epcot around 4pm; next time we ate at BD and stayed at DHS unitl last fantasmic show then headed back to Swan and watched fireworks from there; last year we ate at Kouzinna at BW after doing DHS until early afternoon, then relaxing at Dolphin(just stayed there NYE after 4 nights at OKW for convenience) hung out at BW and its many activities and watched fireworks for DHS from the dock area and also watched the epcot fireworks from there. We were back in our room before most folks hit the trams. If you haven't experienced exiting after NYE fireworks, I'm told its a 3 hour wait to leave with your car. That's why we choose resort for convenient return(walk or boat).
Narcossee would be a great choice to see MK fireworks, are you staying at one of the monorail resorts?
We are leaving 12/30 this year and staying at HHI resort for 12/30-1/1/11, so we'll miss all the wdw festivities..Have fun.
