We are newbies to Disney and Universal.

Where exactly IS CityWalk located? Is it walking or shuttle distance from Universal and/or Islands of Adventure? BTW we are staying at SSR near Downtown Disney.

We are 2 adults and a 10 year old girl. Is it reasonable to do both Universal AND Islands of Adventure in one day. Our altenrtaive is to spend a bit more and get the one week 2 pass in case we need more time.

The restaurants look good. We love Bob Marley and Jamaican food. Do people recommend a one day dining pass if we intend to devote one full day to Universal and Island of Adventures? We already have an 8 day dining plan with Disney.

Thanks.

Citywalk is directly between the two parks.
You cannot get to either entrance without walking at least partly through it!:thumbsup2

Most def. at least two days to cover both parks, if you guys like to ride everything & see every show.

We probably won't ride evrything. I have neck problems (boo hoo) and my 10 year old scares easily. Still, I can see her wanting to do some of her favorites more than once.

Do people think the one day dining plan is worth it?

When you enter the property from the parking garage, you'll be IN Citywalk, then you can either make a left to go to IOA or a right to go to Universal...all within 5 mins of walking distance between each other, so going between parks and citywalk is a BREEZE!

I wouldn't bother. The choices seem very limited. If you want a good counter service meal go to the Enchanted Oak. One meal can feed two people. Mythos is a nice experience if you want to take the time. I recommend it.

I also suggest the Enchanted Oak as far as a counter service restaurant,it's far and away the best CS in both parks!!
