Where is Cinderella for meeting and photos?

Im fairly new at this Character hunting and I was at Disneyland twice (October 2006 and April 2007) and I have yet to meet the long lost princess (as my girls say) Cinderella. Is she really difficult to find, or could I have just happen to be at the wrong time at the Fantasy Faire? Does anyone know where she can be found? We'd love to finally add her to our autograph book and photos!

We saw her at the Fantasy Fair along with Jasmine and Snow White. When I asked the CM which princesses were back there while we were waiting she told me that they switch them out frequently and passed on clues as to who was there at that time. We got there before the ropes dropped which cut the wait time down.

There is also lunch or dinner at Ariel's Grotto, but I haven't heard great things about that option and am not sure if you would guarantee a Cinderella sighting.

I wish the princesses were all as easy to meet as Ariel (who was just so wonderful and beautiful). We missed out on Sleeping Beauty and Belle while we were there. Bummer.

Thanks for your reply! I guess we just missed her then at Fantasy Faire, we went two days in a row too! I guess we'll try again this time around.

I loved Ariel's Grotto for being able to see at least 3-4 princesses, rest our feet while a little dining. We are on strict budget but it seemed worth the money for us, rather than standing in the long character lines all the time.
(just a thought =)) We went twice, but Cinderella wasn't there either! :sad2:
O'well, just something to look forward to!

And, yes, my girls seem to love Ariel too because they were able to see her more!

Oh my, Cinderella really is eluding you! Well I hope you can hunt her down next time! You can stop at Town Hall and see if she is on their list of character appearances, we never stopped in and got the list so I am not sure how helpful that would be for her.

When we met Ariel she was so sweet, charming and beautiful I was star struck! And we love the character meals too, worth the money if you want to meet characters! We waited on line an hour to meet Mickey in his house the last day we were there as we couldn't catch him any other time!

Good luck next time!

When we went to the princess meal in October, I didn't think it was worth it for us (the food isn't so great either), but my 2 year old started making requests like crazy after that trip so I booked it in February and again in April. That has become our favorite meal and the experience alone has been worth the price of the trip. We've only been the 3 times but we've seen Cinderella there each time. We have done dinners there on 2 occassions and lunch on only one occassion.

We've had luck meeting Cinderella in DCA. We met her twice inside the Animation Building - where you see Talk with Crush the Turtle. Our best meeting with her was after the animation show, but I'm not sure that show still exists. I haven't seen it running the last few times we've been there (last couple of months), but that could be our timing. I rarely pick up a map or entertainment schedule so I don't really know. Good luck.

I don't know what it is, but I found myself star struck too seeing Ariel! No wonder my girls adore her! Just for fun- we were lucky to have been on the Alice in Wonderland ride during a parade and when we were out on a leaf, we saw Ariel and called out to her and she waved directly at us! It was such a moment for my girls and since then I became nearly obsessed with the whole character meeting thing!
I think our search for Cinderella has just made it all the funner though!
Thanks!

Thanks so much for the tip, we will check out that Animation building this time around!

This was going to be my suggestion too - they do the show outside (a few times per day), and then Cinderella, Sorcerer Mickey and Woody go inside for autographs. The lines usually get pretty long - but you should definitely have time for at least the one character. We usually sneak in before the show is over and wait - there is a huge empty space - and the characters spread out and then the lines form!

Happy character hunting - it is definitely one of my DD's favorite things to do!!! :cool1:

The show does exists still which is good (4 times a day the show plays in the Hollywood backlot infront of the Animation building) a friend of mine just came back and told me about it. I would go see her there, the lineups are soooooooooo much shorter then seeing her in DL and its a more inimate moment with Cinderella then what you probably would have at Ariels Grotto

Hi,
I was just reading the posts and interested. Are there lines to see this animation show?
Thanks

The animation show is on the street infront of the animation building. Lots of viewing spots. People just crowd around. There might be a total of 30 people when you see it and its a big entrance so it not a big deal.
