for an older child? We are hoping to do the Dining Plan on our next trip. But this time, we no longer have anyone under the age of 10. And I know the adult menus at some restaurants will hold little or no appeal for the 10 year old, or the 15 year old, for that matter.

What restaurants outright refuse to let someone over the age of 9 order off of the kids's menu? We would still be willing to use an adult dining credit for the meal if necessary.

The places I have most in mind are the California Grill and Artist Point.

I ordered the kids steak at California Grill for my 11 year old son last year and no one batted an eye. My kids are 9 and 12 now, and a lot of people think they are twins, as DD9 is very tall for her age. They both routinely still order off kids menus, even at WDW and I have never had any one tell me it's a no-no.

We ate at CG last August and we ordered a pizza off the kids menu for our 11year old daughter and paid cash for her meal. We did the same at a few other restaurants and this aqllowed us to enjoy a few extra TS meals.
