Where is bestplaceto stay in Cape Canaveral the night before the cruise?

We (family of 7) would like to stay in Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach the night before our cruise in November? Where is the best place/hotel to stay?

Is there a hotel where you can leave your car during the cruise?
Is there a hotel walking distance from the Port?

We stayed at country inns and suites. They have a park and cruise option. Call them and see if they have a room to accommodate everyone.
There is no SAFE way to walk to the cruise terminal. Many hotels have park and fly, and parking at the port on a 4 night is reasonable in my opinion.

We stayed at Comfort Inn Suites in cocoa beach....very nice ..
We used the park and cruise special. They have a great hot breakfast, transfer to port...transfer was extra for more than two people ...I checked a couple ways ended up with $98 dollars including tax in June

We stayed at the Raddisson. We were able to park the car there and they offer a free shuttle to the port and return back to the hotel. Very close as well. When you make tour ressies. Be sure to ask to sign up for the shuttle. Google the web site.

Just stayed at Country Inn & Suites last month. Very nice place and
they offer the park & cruise if you need to leave your car. Free shuttle
to the ship in the morning and free breakfast. Definately recommend

Welcome to the Cruise Board!

There are no hotels within walking distance to the port. The roadway to the port has no sidewalks and is very busy and it is NOT recommended at all to walk to the port. The closest hotels are about 2 miles away.

The three closest hotels to the ports which pretty much all have room to handle 7 people are the Marriott Residence Inn, Country Inn and Suites and the Radisson.

Our fav is the Marriott Residence Inn. We always stay in the 2 bedroom suites (the whole hotel is suites) which 2 nice sized bedrooms (each with a private bath) a full kitchen and a small living room. The rate includes a full buffet breakast in the AM.

We have stayed at all three and prefer the MRI.

In June we stayed in the comfort inn Coco Beach (not to cruise but an extension to WDW trip), anywho they had a park/cruise thing posted. Not sure what the particulars were on it, but the hotel was very reasonable and they had a deluxe hot breakfast which was great.

We have stayed at Country Inn & Suites twice and have 2 more stays booked for before our upcoming cruises. The park & cruise package includes parking during your cruise, breakfast, and free round trip shuttle for all to/from the port. You can book it directly thoguht CI & S website, Cape Canaveral location. We are actually crusing in a few weeks, and we are staying 3 nights prior to our cruise at this property. The hotel is very clean, great staff, nice breakfast, and great shuttle. It is the newest and closest hotel to the port. We live near Orlando, and could drive over the day of the cruise, but since we discovered CI & S, and the park and cruise package, we will ALWAYS stay overnight the night bevfore...extra relaxation, and no stress for us getting to the port. On another note, we LOVE Rusty's for dinner the night before. Grill's and Fishlips at the port are also very good. many offer discounts or freebies if you are staying at a local hotel.
