where is a good place to stay in destin

Does anyone have a nice place that they stay at in Destin. We are taking an adult's only trip, so it will be four of us. It has been awhile since I have been there, & I would like to stay on the beach. Thanks

We've stayed at Silver Shells (St. Maarten building) several times. You can see pictures of the available units and can book online at www.silvershells.com. The St. Croix building is set a little bit further back that St. Maarten, but they both look out over the beach. The company also manages the Silver Beach complex (also beachfront) about a mile down the beach.

And don't forget to schedule "The Works" at the spa. For about $115, you can spend an afternoon getting pampered! Go early and plan on time in the whirlpool...and the sauna is fabulous as well.

Silver Shells is very nice...we've stayed there before, and last year we stayed right next to it at Sterling Shores. (it wasn't beachfront, you had to cross the Back Porch parking lot to get to the water, but it was a lot cheaper...and I still had an oceanview...the Destin photo album in my sig has some pics of this unit).

I want to stay in a rental home in the Crystal Beach development next time we go...it looks so fun down there!
