I plan on popping the question when my gf and I head there in mid Oct. Besides Cinderella's castle/royal table(already have ADRs), are there other romantic spots or other good ideas? TIA!

Sorry, I should say that I've looked into the packages and ideas they have as well. I guess I'm looking for ideas that are different than the norm.

If you're looking for grandiose and fun(ny) I saw a very successful one on the bridge in front of Splash Mountain that culminated with a minor soaking right after she said "yes".

If you're looking for quiet/romantic, there is a garden in France in the World Showcase where Sleeping Beauty does autographs occasionally, but for the most part it's extremely quiet and picturesque. My wife and I have used the space for a quiet 10 min lunch, and during that time only saw 2-3 other people which was nice. (Go into France towards the Eiffel Tower, turn right through the perfume store and go through it, and you'll be in the garden I'm describing.

Also, depending on time of year/day you could end up on certain rides alone. In October, it shouldn't be too hard to end up on a boat ride in The Land, or even in Mexico at Epcot just the two of you. They're relaxing, and interesting - something different.

Good luck to you! My wife and I will be there in mid-October too! Great time of year at the parks!

At the Rose garden next to the castle! :) Or by the wishing well next to the castle :) GL! :lovestruc

You can arrange for a diver to hold up a sign in the tank while you eat at the Living Seas in Epcot. I've seen Happy Birthday once, but know they do proposals as well.

Or maybe they can arrange to do it at a show like Hoop Dee Doo? I don't know.

If you want a romantic dinner setting, we loved the Bistro de Paris in Epcot!

ummm....ANYWHERE LOL!

No, really, my first thought (aside from the castle) was on the beaches near the MK resorts during wishes.

The fish tank sounds pretty fun actually. Does anyone know how I could get any info on that?

The wishing well does as well. I already have that planned out in my head if i went that route. Not that its hard to think of one involving a wishing well. Thank you everyone.

I dont know how it could be pulled off but wishes always pulls on people heart strings, I bet a proposal during or right after would be special. Only problem is the 10,000 other people standing right there too

I was going to say the wishing well also....I think that would be a great place....best wishes to both of you.

My husband (then boyfriend) proposed during Fantasmic! It was nice with the music and lasers and fireworks, but in a way it was kind of personal - only the people directly around us knew what was happening.

Fantasmic will always hold a special place in our hearts :lovestruc

I saw one last year where PUSH helped a guy ask his girl to marry him. It was really cute! The video may still be on You Tube.

DH proposed to me in the rose garden next to the castle during wishes. It was amazing and no one even noticed.

What if you got a Jungle Cruise skipper in on the deal? Maybe send GF to get a Dole Whip (because the line takes forever...) while you run to the bathroom. Ask one of the front CMs if they can help. Or you could try to call ahead of your trip...

Or does she have a favorite character? Maybe have the ring box in your pocket, ask one of the handlers OR just whisper in their ear that you need help proposing, slip them the box, and have a go.

What about booking the dessert party in Tomorrowland and doing it then? You'd be in a secluded area, have a great view, and something that's special.

What about a tour and involving the CM guide?

What about at one of the Photopass spots throughout the park? You could always go to the one with a side view of the castle, near Crystal Palace, and when you give the CM your card, tell them what you're doing so they capture it all on film!

We got engaged in the courtyard in front of Tower of Terror after park closed. We where the last ones to ride and took our time walking out so we where alone when I got down on one knee :).

My DH proposed in front of Mickey Mouse (way back when the Judge's Tent was still around). It was awesome! The Photopass photographer captured everything! There is nothing like Mickey being the first one to congratulate you!

I would say on the beach at the Poly with wishes or even Hallowishes in the back ground. Wonderfully romantic. :lovestruc

Propose to her during the ride!!! ...at Soarin'!! Or.. It's a Small World ride!! Or propose to her at her favorite ride!
