We are leaving in 2 weeks :yay: and I'm really looking forward to having some Mickey Waffles - but there is just one eensy weensy problem. We're staying at the Ft. Wilderness cabins (first time there!) and there doesn't seem to be a counter service restaurant at the resort.

"No problem," I thought, "I'll just get breakfast in the parks." Well now I'm looking at menus and it looks like most of the places I had in mind either don't serve breakfast anymore or don't have waffles on the menu. Eeeks!

We are on the dining plan and have already made all of our ADR's for TS meals, and don't want to pay OOP for any additional meals just so one out of the 6 of us can satisfy this crazy waffle craving. We plan to have several breakfasts in the cabin and do CS or snacks (pastries, etc.) for the rest.

So help me out here, where in the World can I get my Mickey Waffle fix? It needs to be at a CS restaurant, preferably in a park or even another resort that won't be too inconvenient and time-consuming to get to from Ft. Wilderness?

I think you can get these at Sleepy hollow in MK, thats what we did- I love mickey waffles.

Most of the resort food courts have Mickey Waffles for breakfast. I am fairly certain that Sunshine Seasons and Pizzafari have them on the breakfast menu too.

From what I have read, they are mainly available at the resorts, not the parks so much.

These are giant Mickey waffles - as large as a dinner plate, and you can get them with powdered sugar or strawberries and whipped cream (like the funnel cakes). More like a dessert than breakfast IMHO.

I would recommend taking the small boat from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary, then hop on the Monorail to the Polynesian. You can get Mickey waffles at the CS - Captain Cook's. You can also try Tonga Toast there. Do it on a Magic Kingdom day so you can hop on the monorail to the MK. Then going home, just take the boat back to the Fort! Here'e the link to the menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_chh.htm

Hope that helps!

I agree with sharadoc. Captain Cooks for Mickey Waffles and Tonga Toast. If that sugar fixed doesn't get you going for the day, nothing will.:lmao:

yep you have a boatride to morning mickey waffles available...then the monorail to the MK.
pretty much all disney resorts have counterservice mickey waffles.
