Killer serves...

...but her opponent in the finals figured out early that Redstorm needs work on her backhand...

2nd place in singles and a promise from her Dad (he played in the State Tennis Tournament during High School; DD made it to Regionals) that they'd spend "a good deal of Sunday" on the tennis courts working on that backhand !

For Diane...a little bit of springtime in Texas:

Didn't get any wildflower pictures...the rains came...but this blooming tree was by the tennis courts. NH will be looking like this soon...WE HOPE :

...and...DH got a phone call from his nephew today. SURPRISE...we have a new niece in the family ...she's 27 and has just contacted her "very surprise father"! ... Our family is just FULL of surprises!

We all have our favorite things to post pics of. Some favorites are rocks, bathrooms (I feel like the guy from to catch a predator will come around the corner), yes my favorite crops are eyes.



But I do not post to many. Goopy says that she will use her giant deer bullets to poke me in the eye

Your wit always amazes me! And you are SO right...to many of those "eye pictures" WILL result in the use of the "deer bullets" ! AND...I need to see more crops by y'all so I get the opportunity to CATCH UP with Diane! She's "in the lead" right now by 68 solves! We ALL know what's going to happen with that group balloon ride if she "wins"!!!

Since this is close to a restroom (and close to an attraction), I'd be willing to bet it's close to a water fountain ... it's in Adventureland.

I like your spring pics. DD had a softball scrimmage today. It was so windy and cold. The wind was so strong it was blowing the ball all over the place. We had to climb over snow to get to the field.

The Bruins season is over.

Sorry about the Bruins ...think about it like this...now that hockey season is done...SPRING IS CLOSER! That's CRAZY softball weather...and to have to climb over SNOW to get to the field! Strange weather for us too. First match this morning found me with a jacket on and wrapped in TWO blankets...2nd, 3rd & 4th match the same way. Went to the car to read and warm up a bit; the sun came out and by the 5th & 6th match we were wearing sunglasses, had applied sunscreen and rolled our long sleeves up! Then, around 3 (thank goodness we were done with tennis by then) the rains came and it was time to get the rain coat on! Not a bad finish for the 1st tennis tournament and now that volleyball & soccer is done she can work on her tennis game. She had some good matches today and her coach was thrilled. The entire team did great!
