It was snowing theis morning. Now it's a nice mixture of sleet and rain. Looks like our van may need a fuel pump. Had it towed to the garage yesterday. DH knows someone who works on cars on the side and said he can do it for a bit less, he's going to look at it today. Stinks because we have been tossing around the idea of getting a new vehicle soon. I don't want the car payment but we were just saying that things are going to start going on the van.

I can relate….my Rav4 has over 100,000 miles now and I just had to pay $900 for repairs But I figured that was cheaper than buying a new car and I hope to get 200,000 miles on this rig. I hope your fuel pump doesn't cost too much or take too long

Sounds like a total mess of sleet & rain but it's encouraging that it's NOT snow! I did some bush trimming and leaf raking yesterday and have icy hot patches on back & shoulder this morning. UGH . We drove our van until DH could no longer repair it...at least he's a "jack of all trades" and was able to make 90% of the required repairs on his own over the years. Hope your friend can fix it...sticker shock waiting out there if you have to look for a different vehicle.

I keep telling DH I want to go to Disney and he said we are NOT taking the van to Disney. So we will have to get a new vehicle before we go to Disney. But who knows when that will be.

Already been pricing vehicles.

Yes it's a Princess and YES it's Merida from BRAVE...one of my favorite Princesses! I have no idea what this is suppose to be so we'll just go with "part of a bagpipe" :
