That is even more scarier. Climbing onto the roofs to clean them off. I know it has to be done but that would be scaring the dodo out of me. Walking on a sloped roof with snow and ice is just asking for more trouble. I guess you could say that the snow would help break the fall.

Yep...should be a "soft landing" with all that snow on the ground!

Must be hard to remember why you have a pool up there. -26 is dangerously cold I hope every one and every animal is inside some place that warm.

I have a snow scraper on a long stick/handle. So I stand on the ground and scrape the snow off the roof. I just saw a suggestion for putting salt in panty hose and trying it up on the the "valleys" where the snow builds up the worst. But, I haven't had to use my scraper in a couple of years now.

How do you heat your house? I hope you are warm and toasty in there. It's hard to keep my house warm when it gets below zero.

Oh, and that croissant doughnut was delicious!!!! Better than the school bread! So many delicious things to eat in DW and so little time!!!!

The croissant doughnut looks ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I wasn't a huge fan of the school bread but I'd sure like to try that!
