The most heartbreaking football night we've had in a l-o-n-g time.

Both our local high school teams lost in the playoffs...the first one wasn't all that bad, in my opinion

(Bellville's arch rival!), but feel SO bad for the young man who caught the winning TD pass, in OVERTIME, but had a flag thrown on him for not reporting as an eligible receiver

and the 2nd local team, from my childhood hometown, lost by ONE point. But the biggest heartbreak was A&M's Aggies Cinderella Season ending in defeat against the Texas Longhorns. They couldn't beat the hometown crowd, the referees (more than one awful calls against the Aggie!) and their quarterback who injured his ankle early in the 2nd quarter and wasn't the same the rest of the game. Judging from watching the injury happen, he had to be in excruciating pain but played the rest of the game. The same quarterback who brought the team back from a 31 point deficit last week couldn't get it done this week.

I'm DONE with football this week! Thank goodness the Cowboys won Thursday or I might not watch another game this season!
This is a scene from the riverboat; name the scene.
