Beautiful night last night! Slow, steady rain from 1-10 AM resulting in a blessing of 1 3/4 inches! Won't ease the drought but I think it's helped us "save the grass" in the front and back yards!

That picture looks like a painting! Can't get over the color of the water. 
Worked SO hard this hot summer moving that water hose every day and water bill was SCARY a couple of months but I think we've succeeded! David had to re-sod the entire front yard last spring so we basically started from scratch. Maybe our weather pattern is finally changing and some of your rain will start setting down here in Texas!
We've had next to NONE! I think this might bring our rain total since May to maybe 5 inches!
