Sorry! Looks like you need to stay away from Maine too; high seas and strong winds there! NOT a fun last week but at least you get to sleep in!

I'll start with the AK.

Good place to start. This is from the AK.

We were supposed to go to Main and Stephanie was going to come up too but looks like that won't be happening. Nick is leaving Sunday to go to the Cape but they are telling people not to come and some are evacuation. He said he's going anyway. He needs to stop planning trips there. First time the hotel caught fire and they had to look for another place to stay. Second time Molly got covid (she's feeling better and is out of quarantine) and had to postpone and now a hurricane. Strike three.

Andy's wife is in the hospital. They admitted her this morning. She has covid pneumonia and is on oxygen. Still feeling really bad but glad she is at the hospital. Andy is a wreck and of course he can't go in to see her. Scary stuff.

Nick...I'm sorry but if there are evacuations you need to stay out of the way! It's always chaotic and there's a good chance power will be lost if there are any strong winds/waves...plus....a lot of businesses will be closed! Tell him he needs to stop trying to get to the Cape! "Higher powers" are saying that's not the place for him! Sucks you can't spend your last weekend in Maine but sounds like you'd be dodging raindrops the whole time!

As for Andy's wife......that doesn't sound good. The father of one of David's installers died this week from Covid pneumonia. I do NOT understand why family can not be with there loved ones....it's not like they haven't already been exposed to Covid! I'd be a wreck too; has to be the worst feeling ever. I can understand not being able to stay all the time but what's wrong with a 15 minute visit???

Allie called this evening! First week back has been fun and they're quite proud of themselves and their "cooking adventures". She said they've made some pretty good meals! If things go as planned we'll get to watch her on the soccer field again this Sunday. Scrimmage is in Dallas and not looking forward to the 4 hour drive but sure anxious to see them play again! She likes the "new kids" and thinks they can contribute to the team! Hope all goes as planned!
