Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

Damn African dust cloud is kicking my butt! :headache: It's become an "annual" July issue and makes me keep a sinus headache for WEEKS! :headache: Tired of it! :faint:

Yes Ma'am, this is associated with a MK attraction. :tink:

Is the attraction in Fantasyland? The meet and greet?

no still hot here has not rained in months

and now we are full into forest fire season

B.C. wildfires update for July 23: Sumas Regional Park closed due to 'extremely dry conditions' | Crews battling wildfire southwest of Valemount | 272 wildfires burning, more than 5,000 properties on evacuation order

Smoke billows from a wildfire, seen from Highway 3 lookout near Osoyoos city, British Columbia, Canada July 20, 2021, in this picture obtained from social media.

Oh that is so sad! We have fires all over Washington too. Several new ones every day. The local news is all about evacuations. Poor ranchers saying they are cutting the electrical fences and opening the gates so their cows have a chance. Horses running down the road. My yard boy's mother was evacuated twice last week. Cat got away from her before she could get it in the car the first time. The second time she got the cat to the hotel but it got out the door and is lost in town now. I think it's a miracle that I sill have water. I'm thankful every evening when I can take a shower. Summer has always been my least favorite season but now I hate it.. We haven't had rain still the first week of June and there is no hope of any rain in the foreseeable future.

I hope she finds her kitty 🙁

I've always been a "fall/winter person" too; summer is just so miserable unless you're living on a beach. :beach: Hot and hotter and so dusty but at least we don't have to worry about wildfires except once a great while. It's been almost 10 years since we had the wildfire threat; that was the year our first football game started with a temperature of 105 at kickoff in September! :faint: Thankful we've had a rainy spring up until now. Like Diane, it had rained almost every day up until about 10 days ago. Now we're wanting some again. David just returned from his shop. He was planning on getting the soil ready for his fall garden but had to come back home; to hot to do much outside...even sit on a tractor! At least he'll now work on finishing up the flooring! :rotfl:

Feel so bad for all that have to evacuate...especially the pets. They get so "spooked"...and run away and get more scared. Always reading about the lost animals. At least the cows/horses have a chance to escape if needed. Just hope they can find water. Hoping it all ends soon for you and Jeff but it's only July! Might be a LONG 6 weeks ahead before relief sits in.:tink:

There’s this strange yellow thing in the sky today. :sunny: :cool1: Sadly it’s supposed to rain tomorrow 🙁

:rotfl2: Enjoy it! Spend the day in your pool and soak it up. Allie was in ours around 10:30...after her morning workout! :faint: She's really been pushing herself this summer with the coach's workout program and her knee is FINALLY feeling better. She's been seeing some kind of specialized chiropractor who uses "pressure points" instead of adjustments and she had her last visit day before yesterday. She THINKS he finally fixed her issues. Now she needs to cut off 3 SECONDS on one of the sprints she's required to do to pass the physical test so she goes to the track early and then late in the evening. Pool felt GOOD today; I spent an hour in it from noon to 1. I know you are SO tired of rain; hope it starts slacking off a little so you can enjoy the rest of your summer! :tink:

I spent all afternoon in the sun and the pool. It was down to 72 because of the rain and cool weather but it felt good.

party: AWESOME! 72 IS a little cool but I'll bet that sun felt good! Glad you finally got to enjoy being outside! 😁 I've spent the afternoon CLEANING THE AC RETURN AIR COVER , repairing some shirts since I can FINALLY GET TO MY SEWING MACHINGE AGAIN 😆 and sorting shirts so I can begin the tee shirt quilt I need to finish over the next couple of weeks! I did go out about 10 minutes to trim the grass growing over the stepping stones down to the pool deck but at 95 degrees I was VERY happy that didn't take to long!:tink:
