The 11:00 update looks better for me, not so much for you Ed. Has most models more East. I don't think they will really know until at least Friday. Landfall in South Fl Sunday morning is all they really can agree on right now.

Yes they will do that. The uncertainty at times will stress a lot of people out. You should see some the gas lines around here for the last 2 days. Grocery store have nothing and will look like a war zone at times.

That does sound scary! They still have gas? Karolyn, that must be eerie to see covered up gas pumps. They have gas here but it was $2.99/gallon yesterday. Did they just say on the news that the governor wants you to leave Florida if you can!? Good time to go take a vacation? Drive that RV northwest!

When I heard the latest update, putting the eye over Ed I was wondering if you'd gotten your room yet at DISNEY WORLD! Grocery stores here are, for the most part, restocked. My brand of toilet paper was still out at Walmart as well as most brands of paper towels; no Miracle Whip salad dressing at HEB but that was the only thing on my list that I didn't get. Stations have been getting shipments either during the night or early in the morning but limited to "X" amount of gas they can get with each delivery. Some stations are sold out by 1-2 PM; some brands do NOT receive daily shipments...every 2-3 days. Surprised Denise that your gas is at $2.99 ; the highest I've seen here was $2.49. Doesn't mean it won't be higher tomorrow but for now that's the top price. Terri...looks like you just MIGHT "dodge the bullet" but as huge as that thing is you should get the same effects with the winds that we did. Sure am hoping YOU don't get 23 inches of rain though!

They have closed the Canadian part of Glacier National Park. The fire was up to 20,000 acres last time I heard.

So sad ; those poor animals and hate seeing those trees destroyed.
