:thumbsup2 Yes Sir, this is from the AK. :tink:
In Asia or Africa? On a wall/building?

DH and DD just left for Richmond to deliver more food donations from our church. First group left around 1 PM but we received another call from a sister Lutheran Church in the area that they too were running out of food. They put the call out for more donations and managed to fill DD's car and they're off to deliver. Son-in-law and his brother were pulled from the original neighborhood and sent further into Houston to assist there. It was announced this afternoon that one of the deaths was a Houston Police officer :sad1: trying to get to his station Saturday night. They've been searching for him since he never made roll call. :sad2: Sunshine all day here but wind gusts still up to 30 mph. The record has been broken for rainfall during a tropical storm with 49+ inches...and rain still falling in some areas. The Princess is still volunteering at the church and Redstorm and her teammates decided it was time they get back to volleyball so they've all gone to the gym for workouts. I think I'll go start cleanup in the backyard...need to get out of the house. :tink:

I heard about the officer, so sad.

One of the roads in our county:

DH's picture as they crossed the Brazos River on their "adventure" :scared: this afternoon.

Part of that "adventure" was to figure out how to get back on I-10...you "normally" take that feeder road that's covered with water!

Finally followed this now one lane road to get on the interstate:

Met this line of buses coming from San Antonio...they will be loading people from the shelters and taking them to Dallas:

West bound lane of I-10 headed back to Bellville...water is almost covering the railroad tracks of the railroad bridge. In the Katy area entire sections of the track are torn up:

Son-in-law texted at one point on a subdivision street their boat drove OVER the top of a pickup truck still parked on the street...totally submerged. I never made it to the back yard; call came out for more food donations from our church for tomorrows deliveries so back to the grocery store I went. Have my sister passing the word around to her church members for tomorrow also...and the Coast Guard assigned to our County have been assigned to church members homes for a good nights rest. :lovestruc :tink:

I did see Jeff's question and keep thinking Pizzafari is in Africa! :headache: This is from a Discovery Island food service but not Pizzafari. :tink:

Flame Tree?

Glad you were never cut off from your grocery store through this whole thing. I feel bad for all the people who had to leave their homes. And the poor animals......

Has the rain stopped for you?
