Hectic day ahead! School's out at noon for the rest of the week so students can participate in the Austin County Fair. They are bouncing off the wall with excitement...you'd think they were ALL going to Disney World! The Princess is bringing friends home for the afternoon; volleyball practice until 3 and then I think half the volleyball team will be here! Thank goodness they'll ALL go to the Fairgrounds around 5:30 and we'll have peace. Since DH resigned from the Fair Board, we very rarely even go. He had his fill LIVING there during his years on the Board. I just have to "get through" the afternoon of chaos.......

Terri is on the right track; this is on the loading platform. Any thoughts on what it is?

To me that is the monorail track in the back. If true the angle looks like it is the top of an info kiosk right outside of the MK? The one I am thinking of I have a pic of me and a nephew doing a funny pose that Goopys DGD did.

I just did my OWN polar bear plunge! 74 degrees didn't SEEM that cold before I got in! While I was in the pool, I missed the "picture of the day" ...a small trail ride came by our house on the way to the Fair Grounds complete with C/W music, hayride wagon, political statement truck , covered chuck wagon, cowboys & cowgirls on their horses....and a truck pulling a trailer with a porta-potty! Dare I say "only in Texas" !
