With the temperature reaching 97 today, I figured it was time to complete my "spring chores" . I can FINALLY say they are all done and, if I don't want to, I don't have to pick up a hoe or shovel or rake until the fall! Time to become "housebound", except for trips to the pool, until the fall!

UGH...that's miserable! We keep holding our breath on our AC ; we really should just go ahead and replace it before it breaks down but sure is hard to spend $5,000-$6,000 ! HOPING this Texas heat doesn't "kill it" this year.

Yep...high pressure sitting over us and we're suppose to hit 100 this weekend. And poor Redstorm has a college showcase soccer tournament. Summertime has arrived; we were SO blessed to have a nice, cool spring but it's "back to normal" for us now. Perfect excuse for me to get some indoor projects done ; yard is as good as it's gonna get and plenty of water available for the daily grass sprinkling. Summertime in Texas! Diane even had humid, hot temperatures yesterday and Stephanie has a playoff softball game today. Welcome to June!
