Its been in the low 40s here in Winter Haven (about 35 miles south of WDW), and yes for us that is COLD!

Even a fellow guest from CHICAGO was wearing long pants while we waited for the boat to the MK at WL in 2015. Everyone laughs at us "down south" but almost everyone that experiences our "cold" says it's different when you factor in the humidity level. When we have 0 humidity (which, trust me, does NOT happen often ) a temperature in the 40's or so has US still in shorts and tee shirts; add the humidity and that same temperature has us digging out our winter coats. Even friends/relatives that take trips "up north" comment on how different the cold feels in the northern states as compared to Texas...and Florida...all southern states. It is what it is; you would M-E-L-T after 2-3 weeks of 100+ degree temperature down here in August. It's what our bodies get used too! You should have VERY pleasant temperatures in Florida when you visit in February/March...should be PERFECT for you!
