Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

This is the Many Glacier Lodge in Glacier National Park.

Again, it reminded me of Disney.

This is the lobby and that is a fire place on the right.

And this is the restaurant overlooking the lake.

wow looks nice there

and yes that lobby does look a bit Disney lol

FINALLY got a newspaper delivery! :yay: No mail since Friday but hopefully by tomorrow. Yes, SUN IS SHINING HERE AGAIN! :sunny: Storm has moved into Louisiana and only a few clouds here but wind still higher than normal. Beaumont/Port Arthur is getting heavy rain/flooding today...just like Houston area did Saturday. Water, water EVERYWHERE. Rivers in our area are reaching their peak today; Austin County is bad but not nearly as bad as Wharton and LaGrange....they both have rivers running directly through the town.

We're concentrating on first responders today. THEY have no food :(; Rockport first responders haven't had a meal in 2 days....no one is able to get there because of all the debris. Power linemen are having to clear the roads to get their trucks through. They drive a mile; have to stop and fix flats. :headache: Slow moving but they're clearing as they go. A delivery from our church left around noon for the 2 1/2-3 hour NORMAL drive...volunteers began cooking early this morning. DD has been frying hamburger meat since she walked in the church kitchen door at 8 AM. They're praying they'll be able to get through when they get to Rockport area. Another church delivery left for the Barry Center in Cypress where first responders were TOTALLY out of food...hot or cold. That was delivered around noon and drivers are on the way back for another load...this time they're hoping for the hot food delivery they're cooking now. Volunteers have literally CLEANED THE SHELVES in the grocery store here and are making trips to Brenham, Sealy and Hempstead for more food. They have to wait until deliveries are made to the stores and grab it right off the shelf. Looking for a place now to deliver all the donated dog/cat food. It's truly amazing and heart-warming...black, white, Hispanic...ALL in/out of our church, delivering food or picking up supplies to cook meals. DH is firing up the grill to BBQ pork this afternoon...when his pain medication KICKS IN :headache:...emergency trip to the dentist :headache: this morning; root canal scheduled for tomorrow. :headache: Time to get back to work but wanted to touch base before I started working in the kitchen. :tink:

Flame Tree?

Glad you were never cut off from your grocery store through this whole thing. I feel bad for all the people who had to leave their homes. And the poor animals......

Has the rain stopped for you?

...and we kept POWER and INTERNET! :faint:

:dance3: Yes...this is from Flame Tree; tell me where. :tink:

In one of the seating areas?

In my humble option, Texas has done a great job of handling this catastrophe. All those busses. The shelters. Non of the chaos and wailing that Louisiana had with Katrina.

This is from the MK so it's not from Spaceship Earth

Some of the park is in Canada. They have one of these Swiss chalets up there called Prince of Wales.

In Fantasyland? I vote that it is in it's a small world. Isn't there a place where it picks up your name using the RFID technology in the magic band? And says either hello or goodbye to you on a screen?

Isn't it AMAZING? :lovestruc I'm so proud of my fellow Texans....this is what I was talking about earlier...this is our "flaky" Michelle :lovestruc...I've known her since was a toddler and would "disappear" from her home and come knock on my back door asking for a cookie! :rotfl2: She's been in charge of our church volunteers and these young fraternity brothers came over today from Prairie View University to offer help. :lovestruc They'll be back tomorrow. :lovestruc
