Same here in Central Fl, add on 100% humidity and it is just horrible.

It wasn't easy! I'd get in my car, roll the windows down to let the heat out while AC was on "full", start driving and as the air circulated the cool AC would TURN HOT! So I'd roll the windows up, car would start getting cool and I'd be at my next destination. Then I'd start all over again. It was NOT a "fun day".

The "tree saving the earth" clue wouldn't have helped ...never did the Kim Possible thing. I believe Redstorm did back in 2010; I remember on that trip my sister helping her with clues.

I HOPE SO TOO! 99% sure it will be in the 90's though so tell you're friends you are NOT crazy! Hopefully you'll get lucky and we'll get one of those nice little "cool fronts"...

FUN AFTERNOON here thanks to that heat! I'd JUST taken Goopy out to "do his business" since the clouds were rolling in and DH said rain was on the way earlier. It was VERY hot and still. Was standing at the kitchen sink washing my hands when I heard loud "pops"...almost sounded like a window had broken. I looked up and through the kitchen window I saw the trees blowing in all different directions, the pool almost instantly filled with leaves and the trashcans on the patio were fixing to go "airborne"! Thinking I needed to move them closer to the house wall I went to the back door and COULDN'T GET THE DOOR OPEN! By that time the wind was "whistling" and the thunder/lightening was pretty bad. DH drove into the driveway and was talking to neighbors...he'd been at DD's house working on one of his trucks under the large pecan trees. He said the limbs started blowing UPWARD and when he looked up a tornado was passing right over him! Thank God it stayed in the clouds but we've got limbs down and I hear chain saws running in the neighborhood. All that "commotion" and we get a total of .2 inches of rain but it's a nice pleasant 77 degrees now instead of 93! And I still managed to get Redstorm's birthday cheesecake and a fresh blueberry bundt cake with lemon glaze baked for tomorrow's celebration!

...and I get to use one of my FAVORITE pictures from our trip 3 years ago today . 8 AM soccer game which meant we had to get up at 6 AM...the Princess was NOT crazy about that..."WE HAVE SOCCER A-G-A-I-N". This was the bedspread at CB...
