Just now got a text from my sister...she broke her hip this afternoon! She's having surgery in the morning. Horrible timing for her ; she has a garden twice as big as David's and cans over 100 quarts of pickles every year plus freezing all her other vegetables. I may be working with more garden vegetables than I care too the rest of the summer! PLUS she's scheduled to go on a Mission trip to South Dakota in mid-July to do some work at an Indian Reservation. I feel so bad for her.

Treavor made it today just in time for Yellowstone NP. Beautiful and SO many buffalo! Staying at the "original" Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks ... it did; took about an hour and a half and she's back in her room now...inserted a Femoral Pin. Hopefully recovery won't be TO long!

Just noticed it. At first I thought they were lights I’m guessing since you said it’s a special stop sign it’s not one at the entrance/security gate. Is it on a walking path or do you see this from a vehicle?

You know the Poly so well, I thought that would be the first thing you'd notice! "Summer brain fog" must be effecting you like it is Allie! She's got it bad! Your first thought is correct; it's the special stop sign at the Entrance! Make it past this one and "you've arrived" at one of of our favorite resorts!

Well...living another "great adventure" here! David has discovered a POSSUM in our trash can in the garage...and she's given birth to 10 BABIES! Now we have to relocate her and the family to his shop...or Amanda's house in the woods"...and figure out how to get food and water for them while Mom is recovering!

Well...living another "great adventure" here! David has discovered a POSSUM in our trash can in the garage...and she's given birth to 10 BABIES! Now we have to relocate her and the family to his shop...or Amanda's house in the woods"...and figure out how to get food and water for them while Mom is recovering!

We "relocated" them to David's shop. They always SCARE me when I go out on the back patio in the evening to feed the stray cat that comes to visit us every evening for dinner! They'll be hiding in the tree or walking on the patio looking for water plus...they chase the kitty off and eat her food! Used to do that to me all the time when Boo was still alive and I'd take her out to "do her business" every evening! BUT...beneficial to have them around...they keep snakes away ! Mandy wanted them at her house but David decided they might be helpful at the shop too. He left some food and water for the Mom; took them away from the house in Boo's crate and left it there until they find a more appropriate home. The "adventure" of country living....

They loved the chipmunks! I know Katie would have enjoyed the bears; when we were in Smoky Mountains that's all she looked for!
