Had one of the LONGEST dentist appointments in a long time today to get damaged tooth built up and crown...at least she ruled out the root canal! Got in the chair at 1 PM; climbed back in my car at 4:45 PM ; AND have to go back Thursday for the permanent crown! At least it's all getting done before DW!

One of my favorites! My Mom used to make the "German version" and she served them with syrup instead of sour cream. I ATTEMPT to make them sometime but they ARE a "pain in the backside" to prepare; always stop at this booth when we're there for Christmas!

Oh Jeff...STOP putting it off! Every time I postpone my visit results in multiple issues! Granted, I "inherited" the "bad teeth gene" (so did Amanda) but problems snowball SO fast. Just make that appointment and get it over with!

A LOT of the time was "waiting" and thank goodness I remembered my trusty book but my body is so stiff today from sitting in that uncomfortable chair and I can barely open my mouth it's so sore. Nothing "major" just time consuming.

Last weekend our school superintendent was named 2024 TASB Superintendent of the Year and, I might add, WELL DESERVED! She is awesome, involved in everything from "being the boss" to teaching in the classroom due to teacher shortage to cleaning the school grounds after the derecho/hail storm and hurricane. No clue how the administrative staff did it but they pulled off a surprise "Congratulations Pep Rally" for her this morning! #BELLVILLEPROUD
