Yes it was; now I have to watch my "adopted granddaughters"! Such fun seeing everyone again though including everyone in our "fan section". Most of the season ticket holders in our area have been in the same seats as long as we have! Couple of new ones this year but they happen to be "Dora parents" so that was fun. Katie had SO many people to visit with but she did watch most of the game with us. Took a few pictures for Allie and texted her during the game; she was listening to the live broadcast. Oh...and she made the cut for the co-ed club soccer team she tried out for! Four girls made the team and she was top female pick. She's also playing on the Florida State Intermural soccer team so she'll be busy this fall! Hope they have a game scheduled when we're in Melbourne!

Was not expecting today to be as busy as it was! David leaves for Alaska tomorrow and it's been crazy between giving me instructions, getting packed, kids dropping by and calling, church and watching SEC football ALL day! Sure is going to be lonesome around here tomorrow!

I'm looking for where this is located; it's not on a "4-wheel vehicle" but is on some type of transportation.

David's a little over 2 hours from Anchorage! Flight left at 2:30 with an hour layover in Seattle. At least he got to watch the Cowboys game during the first portion! Diane...do you go back to school tomorrow?

We’ve been back to school since Aug 28. I went back on Aug 22. Did David take a trip to Alaska by himself? You didn’t want to go? Sounds like a great trip I hear it’s beautiful.

One of his clients has a cabin in Alaska and invited David to join him. I think there are 6 guys total and, no, I'd love "visiting" but not going to sit in a cabin and FISH for over a week! They're like 2-3 hours from Anchorage...wilderness area...that's to far "off the path" for me. (Left Austin yesterday at 2:30 pm and arrived at cabin at 2:30 am!)
He called this morning and sounds SO happy and relaxed. Well deserved "bucket list" item for him. (And I'm hoping to get a solo DW trip out of the deal eventually! ) Wow...you've been back almost 3 weeks already! Thought you had a few more days of summer than you did!
