Hasn't rained all summer but, of course, when I have 8 errands to run today it decides to lightening, thunder and general rain. Not a lot at our house but it's a start! Weather pattern changing and WE'RE HAPPY!

Yes...a pain in the backside and my windshield wipers were SO dry every swipe was a loud "screech" ...drove me nuts! Weather pattern changing though with slightly lower "highs" in the mid-90's, not 100's. It's not your temperatures yet but at least pool water isn't quite a "sauna" anymore! AND...just saw the first migrating hummingbird at my feeder on the front porch! They are SUCH fun to watch!

I’m sad I think all our hummingbirds are gone. We have a feeder in Maine and one would come to the feeder and we used to see it flying around. I didn’t see it last weekend. There was one at home that came around haven’t seen that one either.

They've probably all migrated south already; we normally see them during September...sometime into October. Haven't had nearly as many as we used to have but then I don't have many blooming plants to attract them either. I just love sitting here at the computer and watching them; one year we had two VERY "dominant" ones and they'd fight over a spot at the feeder every day! Had an "internet interruption" earlier! Haven't heard what happened but I heard an enormous BOOM and internet/TV/phone all went out! Finally fixed about 9 this evening.

MY BAD...I meant to type "not in the MK" and totally skipped over that part! Not in AK either.
