Projected path this morning looks like you'll only see the rain from the western side....steering more toward Maine and beyond. Hope so...lot of rain and wind I know you don't need any of that! I dare to say our "heat dome" has moved on! Temperatures still in the upper 90's but it's not mid-100's and nights are a little cooler. Pool water temp has dropped almost 10 degrees, yesterday it was 86, which makes for relaxing pool time! 50% chance of rain today which I'll believe IF I see it but a much anticipated hint of "fall in the air"!

Yes Ma'am...this is the entrance area...actually the pick up area for departures but it's in the front of the building!

It’s supposed to hit Maine so probably not going up this weekend. They are expecting power outages and heavy rain and winds. We should just get rain.

Had my yearly dermatology appointment in Brenham today and did a little shopping. I seriously need to stay out of Marshall's and Hobby Lobby during the fall and Christmas! Got some fun things but left the Halloween "Mickey plates" at Marshall's ; wanted a set of 4 but they only had 2 left! Cute little Mickey heads hung up in spider webs! AND...while I was gone we had AN INCH of rain!

SO many cute decorating ideas at Hobby Lobby...I want it ALL! Never fails...went in for 5 items and came out with 4 bags full of fall/Christmas things! Having one in a neighboring town now is dangerous ; only a 20 minute drive now instead of an hour!
