Was still 100 degrees at kickoff tonight! It's been 77 days this summer we've reached at least 100 degrees, most days higher! But life goes on and one of my favorite pictures tonight of Katie is her blowing on necks of the Dora's as they wait for their halftime performance! They have to stand at attention while the visiting dance group and band perform and IT WAS HOT and miserable out there! And, of course, the adorable little fan club girls! Off at noon Saturday for overnight stay at Allie's; 7 PM game start after a predicted high of 106 tomorrow afternoon!

Oh gosh that is hot we had summer last week it reached 90 almost every day. Of course hot weather comes when im back to work. 70s for next week.

We are SO tired of the "hot"; looking for a "break" this week with only the 90's. If it would only rain we'd feel so much better. Houston area had nice showers this morning so we're hoping the weather pattern is changing. The little birds are so happy when we have the water sprinkler running...they all gather and play in the water. We're parched, everything is "burned" and fire danger really high. Glad you finally got a little warm weather to enjoy before the snow arrives. We noticed a lot of snow on the mountain tops when we flew over Oregon already. School going okay? Been so busy I haven't had a time to check how you're doing! Have a lot to catch up on this week starting tomorrow when we get back from visiting Allie. Senior Serve Fundraiser is on the 23rd and need to create the table cover for the Brahmadora table and get a collage done to display; crazy time of the year!

Attraction shop or food service?

School is okay it’s a struggle trying to make it through the day. Weekends seem to be a little better. Some days are good others not so good. BP seems to be holding below the numbers dr gave me still high but better than it was. Headaches still there. They come and go.

At least BP is manageable...and that's with no medication, right? My new MyPillow came while we were gone and it's helped a lot on neck/headache issues. If I'd put aside time to go to chiropractor I know I could get it licked! Ay least school isn't to stressful!

After a 30 minute lightening delay moving kickoff time to 7:30 (making dinner even later ...last occupied table in the restaurant when we finished eating ) had a nice cool evening to enjoy the game! 2-0 win against a team who thought they'd come out on top ...got a little "snippy" in the final few minutes with a few yellow cards issued so sure was fun to watch! Had a visiting local girls team on the sidelines with them...maybe they brought them good luck!

It was amazing...defense was ON FIRE! Created at least 3 scoring opportunities in the first quarter...interceptions, fumble recoveries and sacks and they didn't let up the entire game! I think the Giants quarterback was sacked at least 6 times, maybe more. My Cowboys friend from Florida called at halftime and all she could say was "WOW...I can't believe the defense!" Now....if they can just keep it up and keep everyone healthy we MIGHT have a productive and enjoyable season!
