New crop to start a busy weekend for us!

Annual Meet the Brahmas and Brahmanettes gathering tonight! The Officers performance was a "hot mess" at Dora Camp but they pulled it together tonight! Got a bigger applause than the volleyball team! Katie's "jump" was actually higher than some of the cheerleaders...wish it wasn't blurry! My eyes always "leak" when the seniors gather at the center of the gym and sing the School Song...especially this year....

Yes Ma'am! We didn't eat there but Sara, Treavor and the girls did and liked it. Only complaint was it wasn't Pappy's BBQ and sauce!

I was thinking of eating there on our next trip

They liked it but said it was "just okay"; but then, we're used to "Texas BBQ", especially David's which we've all grown quite fond off. Every state and restaurant does it different ; as long as it doesn't have artificial smoke on it I'm okay. Not sure what they had but said it was "acceptable" and, while not at the top of their restaurant list, they would eat there again. David got a meal at the American Adventure BBQ place and he like it.

The high school soccer team is playing in a TOURNAMENT today in Brenham! UIL rules don't allow the coach to "coach" outside soccer season so Allie and Cami are on coaching duty! I want to go watch SO BAD but just can't do it...97 degrees already! Sure hope this heat dome over us moves on before next month!

Please do ...we are all SO tired of summer! David's class had their 55th reunion this evening and all his classmates said the same thing! SO ready for cooler temperatures! His class is full of "fun loving characters" and they haven't changed a bit; had the best time after a crazy day! Had more than 1 "mishap" baking desserts for the girls birthday party tomorrow plus all kind of little incidents (like TOTALLY FORGETTING to attend a 50th wedding anniversary that we remembered when one of his classmates mentioned it! ) that made me just want to crawl in bed and start over tomorrow !

Full family and friends weekend; David's class reunion, anniversary & birthday dinners for everyone...including for our anniversary today...and Christmas in July with BFF. SPECIAL birthday gifts for Allie & Katie as a surprise but Allie knew about it since SHE'S the one that figured out how to get tickets which included being on the phone at 3:15 AM the day tickets went on sale with Sara on the phone with the credit card company while Allie made connection for ticket purchases and the lady getting the okay from the credit card company....! They set up a scavenger hunt which took her all over the house and yard gathering pictures of the places in Europe they'll visit on their graduation trip next year. Sara had letters under each picture and Katie had to put the pictures in order of their itinerary, turn them over and it spelled her surprise. While in Switzerland....she and Allie will be attending the TAYLOR SWIFT concert! Katie went berserk ; between my camera photos and David's video I did manage a couple of her reaction photos!

This was when Allie told her they had the VIP package and seats were on Row 21 And I thought she got excited with one of the gifts she requested from David and I !





Carolyn wasn't QUITE as excited when she opened the collage of our Liverpool trip I made for her but it was close!
