I'm sorry Jeff...I know how much you love Halloween! We have perfect weather here....for now. Rain moving in this evening but it's 71 and partly cloudy!

Amanda loves Halloween as much as you do! SOME of her decorations she and Bryan put out for their party last Saturday night! The last one was FUN...she's chases you around!

actually the weather turned out great as you can see by the photos i posted.

we got about 150 kids to the door and we were only out for about an hour and the kids got lots of candy

oh wow we don't decorate that much that is crazy, may when the kids get older and don't go out we can have a Halloween party and decorate the inside of the house like that

Wow Jeff...you DID pass out a lot of candy! We live in the "quiet part" of town so don't get many kiddos at all....mostly a few neighbors. We turned the lights out at 9 but David noticed I left the garage light own. He asked why and I told him, "Katie hasn't been here yet". He laughed and said..."she's 16 years old she's not going to come Trick or Treating"! 10 PM I hear this knock at the door; opened it up to Katie and a couple of her friends...TRICK OR TREAT! "We love you Mimi....of course we're going to come visit you on Halloween"!



Those decorations are CRAZY! They love Halloween like I love Christmas so can't say too much! I kinda liked the swings too! Told her one year she needs to put them up in OUR yard or better yet...let Katie have a party and invite her friends!

Long day! Foot doctor appointment, Amanda groomed Boo and got some Christmas shopping done...all in the RAIN!

Katie and her friends cleaned us out on the candy BUT...Walmart had my favorite Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (and other leftover Halloween candy) at 50% off yesterday so I came home with 3 more packages! I have absolutely NO will power! It was "such a good deal" I couldn't help myself so now we DO have a lot of candy "left over"!

I get a text from Allie around 6 PM...super excited! She was on a zoom call with fellow Sumner's Scholarship recipients with Judge Nathan Hecht...a Texas Supreme Court Justices! I love seeing her interest in politics!

BUT...the best news of the day....David (and Sara & Allie) will be going to the 6th game of the World Series! Early Christmas gift from Treavor! Another "bucket list" item he can mark off!
