Starting the weekend with this one:

Sara finally sent me some of Katie's dance recital pictures! Only took her 3 months ...not sure what's going on in the 2nd picture ...pretty sure that's the moment she realized she'd danced with the seniors for the last time....



Change of plans and our last "free weekend" until Thanksgiving will now be spent driving to Brownwood for soccer; Saturday scrimmage and Allie SHOULD get to play one of the 30 minute periods. Her knee is swollen so she's not sure but either way need to deliver the chocolate chip cookies I baked for her this afternoon!

She only does 1 class of ballet; nice to finally have some pictures of that performance. I've always loved ballet! Company tryouts today and she made all she tried out for. The new dance season starts!

Allie actually made it through almost the entire scrimmage. She pulled herself out with 5 minutes to play. She did great ; timing is still off but they'll work on that this week. She played on the team that SHOULD be the starters next week but they'll be looking at all the girls in a game situation so she probably won't stay in long. Another long road trip ; this time to the Texas Hill Country. Beautiful drive but the traffic through Austin is a nightmare and HOPEFULLY we won't have to leave at 5:30 AM! Her knee is swollen and she had to stay after the game for an ice bath but she'd already told Coach she wanted tomorrow and Monday off to rest. Swelling was already down when we left this afternoon.
