Shop? Some kind of cup/mug/tumbler?

Yes it's a bit warm today 🥵 I miss my pool. 🤬Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. I really should go to Maine but I don't want to go by myself.🙁

Is Maine any cooler? But...you could at least go to the beach! I'll bet you DO miss your pool....I'm REALLY busy today (Allie's birthday dinner....turkey & stuffing with all the trimmings) tomorrow night but I'm taking a break after dinner and spending an hour out in the pool. Allie requested a "Granny Dorothy" cake for her birthday...my Mom used to make the most amazing cakes for all of us. We all SO miss those treats. I think I can duplicate the cake (her secret is adding 1 tsp of butter flavoring to a regular cake mix plus extra flour, baking powder and salt)...she gave me those ingredients but her frosting :confused3. She used to say...just mix it up and taste as you go! :rolleyes1 Her ingredients....powdered sugar, Karo (she had "white syrup" written down but Joan and figure she has to mean Karo :rotfl:), shortening, flour, salt and HOT WATER! No amounts :headache:...SO...my "experiment" will begin this evening! :rotfl2: JUST IN CASE...I bought a can of ready to use frosting if all else fails! We're at 100+ ALL week into the weekend!

park, resort or other?

This is from an other shop; it's not a cup/mug or tumbler. :tink:

DS? Marketplace side?

Good luck with the frosting. :rotfl2:Good to have a back up plan.
My grandmother made the best corn chowder but she would never give anyone the recipe. I used to watch her make it when I was growing up so I know what most of the ingredients are but not any amounts.

Isn't that frustrating! That generation was touchy about sharing their recipes! I can't tell you how many times we asked to WRITE IT DOWN! We actually thought she did (the paper Joan has with the ingredients) but little did we know she was so vague! :rotfl2: The joke was on us! I still have a sneaky feeling she left something off that list on purpose! :rolleyes1 If I can get the texture right I have a few ideas on things she may have "forgotten" to write down and I'll make additions. It's the texture and "spreadability" that I'm worried about.

Disney Style? Or Disney Corner?

Well...the frosting wasn't a disaster :rotfl:; it's not perfect but I think I came pretty close to the original! :goodvibes We'll see tomorrow when the "critics" taste it.

:thumbsup2 Yes Ma'am, this is from Disney Style. Tell me where it's at.:tink:
Is it something you can purchase or part of the decor?

Dressing rooms?

Glad your frosting turned out okay.

We'll see what the kids think...it's edible :rotfl:! I'm anxious to see what they say; certainly not the "perfect cake" Mom used to make!

:dogdance: Part of the decor in the dressing room area...teamwork solves it! :dogdance: CUTE little shop; hardly ever buy anything but love to visit!
