Finally got a Christmas gift from Sara framed last night....I kinda like it!

Nice present I like it. We had a little touch of spring today. Reached 70 it’s not going to last tomorrow rainy and 40s. All next week 40s and low 50s.

At least there's hope! One day in the 70's is a start! Rainy and 40's/50's is at least better than the teens and snow! We have very nice weather; 70's in the day and cool at night. Grass fires burning southwest of Ft. Worth and the winds have been so bad we're getting some of the smoke WAY down here! Cleared off today around noon but expected to be back tomorrow morning. Allie's actually closer and only getting a small amount of the smoke. It's SO dry; good soaking rains needed over the entire state except for Houston area...the place with "the most concrete" where they don't NEED the rain! Another chance on Monday but also comes with possibility of hail and 60 mph winds.

Sara found the print in a little shop in the Katy area; she was surprised they had something like that in there! I think it's pretty cool!

At least there's hope! One day in the 70's is a start! Rainy and 40's/50's is at least better than the teens and snow! We have very nice weather; 70's in the day and cool at night. Grass fires burning southwest of Ft. Worth and the winds have been so bad we're getting some of the smoke WAY down here! Cleared off today around noon but expected to be back tomorrow morning. 🌧🌧🌧 That would be wonderful! The grass fires cover over 10,000 acres in northwest Texas and as off last night they only had 15% contained. One little small country town was totally burned and a lot of farm equipment has been destroyed. Doesn't take much to start something and with the winds we've been experiencing any little fire spreads quickly. Everything is "frozen off" and dried out. So sad. I need to work on some crops too but it's "spring replanting" time ! DREAD it; SO hard for me to lug those heavy bags of soil and pots around so I'll have a miserable weekend but such a relief when it's done! Had our first "spring cookout" last night at Sara's. Treavor grilled burgers after he and David and Katie and 2 of her friends went fishing in the pond...THAT was "fun" for the guys....taking three 15 year old girls fishing ! Great meal, enjoyed watching the little donkey and the moon over the pond was SO pretty....even Cici enjoyed the extra treat!
