Oh Jeff...it's absolutely beautiful! I LOVE renting beach houses; SO nice listening to the waves first thing in the morning and all those beautiful windows...nothing blocks the views! Our favorite dance convention is in Galveston for National's and renting a beach house for all of us. Your kiddos will LOVE that but I'm not sure about the surfing ; are you SURE that water will be warm enough in May? I think you need to look into renting a wet suit!
