Always makes me smile when I get the big smiles over DISNEY gifts! Allie loved her Porg , Stitch hat (so did Treavor) and her "Disney dishes"; Katie was super excited about the wooded It's A Small World puzzle she has to "build"; Sara's latest addition to her Disney Snow Village is a MINNIE'S DANCE STUDIO and Katie can't wait until she can drive her car to school and use the sunscreen I had made for her from a RnR Photopass picture, put the new yard signs in the yard...and, remember the kid's cartoon/movies The Land Before Time...she LOVED it so I got her a collection of the movies!

But the BEST of the entire day was Allie's surprise with the autographed jersey of her FAVORITE soccer player. SO glad Treavor found it on Ebay...and we were able to purchase it before anyone else! I made her "work for it" and wrapped it in 3 boxes but the reaction from her was one we've NEVER seen with a gift!

...and David and I had pretty much the same reaction when we opened our gift from Sara & Treavor! "Old, longtime" Cowboy fans would understand our excitement!

Stephanie wore the same pants as Katie today. Looks like all the gifts were a hit. Bates is not one of the Cowboys players I've heard of.

Stephanie wore the same pants as Katie today. Looks like all the gifts were a hit. Bates is not one of the Cowboys players I've heard of.

How funny! Red/black squares were popular today! Stephanie probably needed hers for WARMTH! I put the AC down to 68 degrees so it at least FELT like Christmas! "Santa" gave Katie some really pretty purple tie-dyed leggings today that I love! Allie started letting her soccer friends know about the autographed jersey immediately! One of them even messaged ME..."I'm SO jealous"!

Bill Bates is known as "the most beloved Cowboy". He was signed as a free agent in 1983 and played until a knee injury forced retirement in 1992. He was a "bulldozer" and ran over any/everyone in his way...so much fun to watch! He was so excited at 1994 Super Bowl when the Cowboys won the coin toss all he could say was "we want the ball; we want the ball; we want the ball"! While he was a Cowboy he became the father of triplets! Loved watching him play! This is one of my favorite pictures of him...
