Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

This is not from a shop or food service. It is inside.

Is it in the lobby area...the display behind glass with the posters and pictures? There's this spot and then I think another with Donald Duck's nephews...

Sorry you had to go to a funeral. Sounds like it was a nice service. Death sucks! I spent a lot of time worrying about my pig, Tootsie today. And it "only" got up to 99. It's supposed to get up to 106 tomorrow  113 next Tuesday and Wednesday. :faint:

 David likes to say he'd rather GO to a funeral than be the SUBJECT of one! :rotfl: Larry went through a lot of health issues the past couple of years and his sister told me he was SO frustrated and SO tired of worrying about his blood sugar levels. His wife told me last night after the past 3 weeks his passing was a blessing; it must have been really hard on him. Just feel so bad for his immediate family he left behind; 3 young granddaughters who won't get to spend time with him like we do with Allie and Katie. 🥺

Tootsie may feel the same way....she's tired of being in ill health. But she's still eating so that's a plus. Just try to "spray her down" as often as possible when the temperature gets really hot. Hoping it's only a few days for you....not WEEKS! Your poor plants are really going to suffer! Hoping you can keep them watered daily...thank goodness you put in that new well a few years ago! Just pray your electric grid holds up and you don't have a power outage on top of everything else! Some parts of Texas are already experiencing "brown outs"!:tink:

Yes, I've known a few people, my father comes to mind......when the suffering at the end is so bad, that death is a relief.

I only got up to 99 yesterday. It's supposed to get up to 104 today :faint: The week we've all been warned about is here. Now let's just see if we can all make it through it. Peaking at 111 on Tues/Wed.

:thumbsup2 Our heat index has been around 104 the past week and that's "doable"....stay in the shade when you go out and don't do yard work until late in the evening. :goodvibes That's when I water my potted plants...the temperature is "bearable" but the dang mosquitos "eat me up"! 🦟 I'd just plain stay inside on the "peak day" 🙃! We're at a very nice 87 on a cloudy day but actual humidity is at 67% already. Some system is pulling up moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Parts of our yard are "wilting" already so a little rain would be helpful but this is the week for my sister's huge "Garage Mart" 😁! She and a group of friends (me included this year) set up a huge sale on her front lawn...with rain predicted, it's going to be A MESS! But...gotta start that "Disney trip fund" again!:tink:

We have kitchen LIGHTS :cool1:, cabinet pulls AND backsplash! Don't know why it shows up with a yellow tint on the picture :confused3...well, I do...one of my camera settings needs to be changed but was to lazy to figure out which one! :rotfl: Plus...a CUTE little visitor on the back patio! :goodvibes Of course, David is gone visiting his sister in Katy and I'm not brave enough to try and catch it to relocate it to the "back pasture" so Boo and I are staying out of the backyard for now.

The kitchen is beautiful! So glad it's almost done.

Odd for a opossum to be out during the day.

I get up at 4 am and am in the yard by 5 to water and do what I can before I have to shut the house down about 7 am. It doesn't cool off here until like 1 am.

I'm on death watch with Tootsie. I go out every hour or so and try to give her a sponge bath and some cantaloupe. Her mind is still sharp. She hates getting wet! :sad2: But she can barely stand up. As long as she is laying in the shade, that's all I can ask. It's 95 now at noon. 4-5 is the hottest part of the day. I was lucky it cooled off to 65 last night and I was able to open the windows from 1- 7 am!! but it won't get below 70 now for a while....... this is day 1 of 9 days.....
