Where is this?

I've spent a good part of my day worrying about what's coming up here. A historic unprecedented heatwave. It's never been this hot up here. It's been 105 for one day. or over 100 for 3 days but this is going to be horrible.

! Those are "Las Vegas temperatures"!; I think I even saw the Grand Canyon had 117 one day last week.
Look out Diane, Jeff and other WITW players...and Ed vs. hurricanes!
In the queue? or pre show movie?
A light on the side of the ride vehicle?

What part of the queue would we see this?
![]()
That looks really good. Park resort or other?
OMG that’s some ridiculously hot weather headed your way.![]()
Prime Time?![]()
No need to worry...90% of the time the predictions are wrong! Those are "Las Vegas temperatures"!; I think I even saw the Grand Canyon had 117 one day last week.
I remember a few years ago we had 100+ temperatures the entire month of July; August "cooled down" to 95+ and then in September...the 1st football game of the season it was 106 that afternoon! It took every thing I had in me to keep sections of our back yards grass alive especially when water rationing was issued. Close your blinds and/or curtains to keep the heat out; get your AC "cooling down" the house now; stay indoors; get your pets inside and pray no one starts a fire!
We had the historic cold this past February now you get historic heat
; let's see what Mother Nature can come up with next!

This is from a resort so not Prime Time.

The local news is all full of doom and gloom. It's like when you know a hurricane is coming. It's nice this morning. Got all the doors and windows open trying to get the cool air in here. Then I will lock it down. I bought black out curtains so it's like a cave in here when I close the windows for the day.
I can keep the cat and dogs in the house but Tootsie will not come in. She is not doing well at all. She is dying of cancer and has a bad leg. She may not make it through this.. She has a wallow area in the shade but so far has refused to get in it. I have been going out and giving her sponge baths but she doesn't like that either. She is just miserable. But she will still get up and eat.
Been dealing with computer problems this morning and, believe it or not, I think I fixed it!
How crazy is THAT?
...she's going to struggle getting through that heat wave. Any way you can set up a water sprinkler to keep her under? Anything to cool her down since she won't go "play in the mud"! I hate it when I have to close my window shades and curtains; David made me keep them closed during our freezing weather in February and I wanted to enjoy looking at the pretty snow and ice outside! I put the shade in the kitchen up about 8 inches
so I could peep out.
Still hoping it won't get as bad as predicted and that the local news DOESN'T have to talk about fires!
Where are we? Test Track? I only remember the room where you make your car. Is it in that room?

![]()
Test Track was my previous crop; this is from SOARIN'. It's somewhere in the queue area but not the pre-show. Asking for a location.![]()
My new living room set (couch and recliner) were supposed to be delivered this week. I called to check and they told me they are still really behind and are looking at SEPTEMBER.WE ORDERED IT IN JANUARY.

I'm SO afraid that's going to happen to us! We purchased from Star Furniture and the Bryan store SAID our furniture was in the Houston warehouse....HOPE SHE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH! I'm sorry Diane....I know you're anxious to get your new stuff!

How about the entrance to the queue? Or maybe just before you go into the room with the ride?
Think a little harder; not at the very entrance and not in the pre-show area before the ride.

I watched the weather channel this morning during breakfast and noticed, at least, your night time temperatures are still in the upper 60's! That's awesome if that holds out; during our summers we're lucky if we get in the low 80's at night! Poor Tootsie...she's going to struggle getting through that heat wave. Any way you can set up a water sprinkler to keep her under? Anything to cool her down since she won't go "play in the mud"! I'll start with OKW....maybe Olivia's?![]()
I really liked this little restaurant and all of OKW.

but then a fire broke out below her and they closed the road! There was one alternate route out. She was on a level 2 evacuation and they were really encouraging people to get out and not letting anyone go up the road.![]()

OMG! That's worse than my generator story! It took me like 2 months to get a mattress and box springs but you win the prize for hardest item to get.
But, I have The Worst story! A friend of my friend who lives way up on Deadman Rd. is 70. Her husband is/was 55. He has been dying of cancer for about 9 months now, which is sad enough but he died yesterday. At home, up on the mountain. Hospice got up there and declared him deadbut then a fire broke out below her and they closed the road! There was one alternate route out. She was on a level 2 evacuation and they were really encouraging people to get out and not letting anyone go up the road.
So, as of last night she was up there preparing to be evacuated. She has 2 horses and 2 mules and a mean goose and a dead husband. They were hitting the fire had but it was too steep for people to get in there and 94 degrees so they had 2 helicopters, 2 planes and a "boss" plane fighting it. When I went to bed it was 70% contained and they had not lost any structures. I know several people that live up there. It's 13 miles from me but over a river from me too.
