One recital down; one to go. Fun evening watching an "overload of cuteness" from those beginning dancers! One little girl reminded us ALL of Amanda's first recital!She was in 2 numbers and JUST STOOD THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAGE in BOTH numbers (she's the one behind the microphone). Amanda did the exact same thing in her first recital! Then there was the one that was the "center of attention"! During her first number on stage she spent the first half WAVING at everyone in the audience!
That number happened to be right before intermission so....when Amber came to the mic to say there'd be a short 10 minute break she followed her on stage, took the microphone from Ms. Amber and told all her relatives "HI"!
Amber had to literally pick her up and carry her off stage! BUT...the funniest part of the night (and I didn't get a picture of it
) was during dinner. We all went to Los Cobo's and were seated in the larger dining area. Three Washington County Sheriff Deputies were seated behind us. Treavor slipped the waiter some money and paid for their meals; when they asked for their checks the waiter told him our table had paid their bill. Katie and Ayla saw them looking at us and wondered what THEY'D done wrong
...THEN they all 3 walked over to shake Treavor's hand but the girls thought they were coming over to "talk to them". The look on their faces was PRICELESS when these 3 big/burley police officers approached our table!
Katie was amazing
; my favorites including the opening number and her "featured soloist" in the Musical Theater's Annie number. She was SUPER excited to see what Treavor & Sara bought her in Las Vegas. They had to ship the Avenger's framed autographed photos home and it arrived at our house today. Worked out perfectly....instead of flowers after her recital she got the "big box"...and she LOVED her program ad I put together to surprise her!
Awww the little girl is adorable. Such a nice thing for Treavor to do paying for their meal.
; we support our law enforcement 100% and that was a great way to show "thanks" for all the crap they have to put up with! The son of one of my good friends was at the recital and some of the stories he told us! 
He works in an area where a lot of illegals gather after they've crossed the border. Scary, scary, scary stuff that those officers have to deal with on a daily basis. 
; we wouldn't be able to get to the airport for our flight! ✈
Almost done with this crop. This is a "spacecraft/rocket" 
in the area of the Millennium Falcon. What's "different" about it (hint...Disney is "all about details")? 
and we'll need to leave for the airport at that time! We may drive to Austin Tuesday afternoon and get a room at one of the airport hotels depending on David. He's got some things that MUST be done before we leave and before the painters come in Wednesday. If he finishes his "list" this weekend, we'll be able to leave after I drop Boo off for boarding. We'll be in a 2 bedroom villa in Copper Creek...those are the DVC properties inside Wilderness Lodge. Amanda, Bryan and Ayla will have a Studio in Boulder Ridge. We'll have a few days of "DVC only" before the Lodge opens back up to the public Saturday. You and I will be gone the same time and Diane will still be "in school"...WITW will be SLOW next week unless Jeff carries on!
