You're lucky your box was the only thing damaged. Sounds like lightning struck close. That is the loudest and scariest sound. Is your pool ok??

VERY lucky! Really surprised the computer wasn't fried too! Pool seems fine; lot of tree branches down in the back yard so not sure where it struck! Scared the dickens out of us though! Even BOO was jumpy! A friend across town had her microwave fried...another friend had larger tree limbs down...one of the teachers at Sara's school had roof damage on the house and the barn....stormy evening!

Less than 24 hours!

Two "Disney graduates" ... parent ads in the graduation section and we had to smile when we saw Brady's under Allie's. In 2008, the "Hurricane Ike in Houston" trip Brady's family was part of our "party of 12" when we were trying to get our flights changed so we could get out of Houston before the airport closed down!

...and the final time she made the Sports page in the local paper
