This child continues to amaze me . Final score on scoreboard was 6-0 but after the final second ticked off Coach visited with the refs wanting to know why Allie wasn't credited with her 6th goal of the night right before half-time. We thought time had ended before she made the kick since the score didn't change; the refs informed Coach they had credited her with it but the person working the scoreboard didn't. The final score was 7-0 with Redstorm putting 6 of them in!

We FINALLY have seasonal weather this morning! It's 42 degrees and snowing in the Texas Panhandle. One of Redstorm's teammates from last year sends her texts after every soccer game asking how things went; last night she said, "COME GET ME"! She's at Texas Tech and they're under a winter storm warning!

Yes...this is from the Mickey and Minnie Meet and Greet in HS; what is the crop?

Son-in-law diagnosed with Type A flu this morning so I have THREE hungry teenagers for dinner tonight! DGD's and soccer teammate will be busting through the back door in about 3 hours! LOVE cooking for my babies...

That article was pretty special coming from our "arch rivals" . We were all a little surprised back in January when their tweets from the game were so complimentary and now this article about the Brahmanettes AND the boys soccer! Really nice of them.

If you ARE getting the flu get to the doctor immediately! The Tamiflu they gave me really helped a lot! Son-in-law is on it too and feeling a little better after just 24 hours. Still feverish, chills, muscle aches but much better than Tuesday night and yesterday. And...HOORAY for snow day! ❄❄...sounds like it came at the right time for you!
