So much harder to deal with than snow!
She's giving herself a "treat" this spring sports season and, in addition to soccer, playing on the high school golf team!She's played golf with her Dad since she was 7 years old and has learned a few "tricks of the trade" along the way. Good start to the season...first golf tournament and the team earned 1st place!

High schools aren't allowed to use golf carts for practice or tournaments/matches whatever they are called, not sure why. He still goes golfing a lot.

I did not hear that. I hope not, last time we had an ice storm we lost power for a week. I'll take any amount of snow over ice any day.

Great job. Nick played on the golf team his senior year. Here it's a fall sport. They needed players and the coach asked Nick if he wanted to play and he said sure. He said lugging the golf clubs and walking the course was so exhausting way more than hockey.
They can't use golf carts here either for high school play! The golf coach plays golf with Treavor and he'd seen Allie play before; he's been after her all previous 3 years of high school to play! After the first week of practice he told her, "I could kick your b*** for not playing before...you could have been at the State Tournament!" She just didn't feel right not practicing with the soccer team the other years (golf and soccer practice is at the same time after school) but now as a senior she (and the coach) are okay with her missing 1 soccer practice a week. She does go out on weekends and plays golf so she gets in a little extra practice that way. Two of her BFF's are on the golf team so they're having a LOT of fun...which is the way the senior year should be!

) and maybe even a few SNOWFLAKES around 3 AM! ❄ THEN back up to the upper 70's by the weekend! I was trying to get a timetable so I know how to dress tonight! Ice usually does lead to power outages so I HOPE it's not to bad...but it did show NH in the "darker pink" area. 
It's one of the ladies walking in front of floats, right? But I can't picture which ones!!! I'll keep thinking....
