Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

I see they are closing HS and the AK tomorrow at 2:00 PM and the MK and Epcot at 3:00

I read about that earlier. Dorian really has not moved all day. 8pm tracking has the center of Dorian is 100 miles east. Eye wall winds are about 75 miles. Outer bands have been swirling around all day. They are still forecasting this to turn north.

The FOX weatherperson said the westward movement is so minimal it's like it has stopped so they're expecting the next update to say it's made the turn. Thank goodness the winds have been reduced 'cause it's still gonna tear up your beautiful Florida coastline. Long week ahead for our neighbors in the East. :grouphug::tink:

Attraction, shop or food service?

....and the airport is closing at 2 AM. Relocating FW, Treehouse, and WL and Poly cabins and bungalow guests to other quarters too. At least they're opening all parks earlier tomorrow so resort guest can get in an extra hour or 2 before being "confined" to the resorts. Hope the damage is minimal.

What about HS? :tink:

I've heard being in a DW resort during a hurricane is a great place to be. Especially if your room opens to a hallway and you can walk all over the building, to the lobby, food. They do extra entertainment. It's super safe. Could be worse. But are they sure it's going to effect DW? And by tomorrow afternoon? The poor Bahamas! It's just been parked there!

As I understand, Disney takes really good care of it's guests during a hurricane. Boxed meals, movies, characters visit; I would say WL, Boardwalk, GF and Yacht Club would be ideal. The rest of the resorts you're confined to your rooms (or longhouses at the Poly) during the height of the storm. Depending on the size of the storm that could lead to "the walls caving in" 🤪 after 24 hours or so! :rotfl2: Remembering back to Harvey, after 48 hours of constant rain pounding on the roof and windows, it does drive you more than a little "goofy" no matter where you are . BUT...if I HAD to be "stranded" during a hurricane I would think DW would be a good place to be!

What about the Muppets? :tink:

I got up at 4 AM this morning to get my Fastpasses and still didn't get the Millennium Falcon. But I got Flight of Passage and everything else I wanted.

:goodvibes So they are doing Millennium Falcon fastpasses? I read they were not but that may have just been for opening week. There was a discussion on why the lines weren't as long as expected and it was mentioned it was because the "fastpass guests" didn't have to be incorporated in the line. I'd keep trying...ya never know! :tink:
