Cue "It's A Small World After All" ; DD got a text today after she posted this picture on Facebook. Her college roommate has just moved to Boston from Katy! Holly was in their wedding and they've stayed in touch over the years but messages have been fewer and far between...until she saw this on Facebook! So Diane...you're "off the hook" on being the substitute Mom IF she ends up here. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! The only problem they're having is "the language barrier" ; the Boston accent is a strong one...and the Texas accent is there too but there are also LOT of foreign students in attendance. Their Uber driver last night was Chinese and spoke VERY little English. She met with the soccer coach over an hour and the program sounds awesome. NO school is missed for games and only daily 5-7 practices...never any longer. The counselor they spoke to was super nice and gave them a huge "welcome". Freshman are put in dorms with older students and Diane...get this...they each get SINGLE rooms...NO roommates...and in a few of the dorms they're even allowed to have a CAT in the room with them...she would LOVE having her Tiger with her there! Lucked out on the temperature; it was 68 this morning and the rain had already stopped; the heat is coming though...VERY high index for Saturday. They're meeting Holly and her husband tomorrow night for dinner and camp begins tomorrow afternoon into Saturday. The coach promised to let her know within a week if he was interested in putting her on the team.

Oh the Boston accent. Glad she likes it. She may not like it as much in January. It's nice all the rooms are singles and allow cats. Small world her college roommate is in Boston now. Must have been nice to catch up.

These 2 "girls" played tennis with Sara in high school; they graduated in 1995...I've been making my Sugar Cookies a LONG TIME...and after all these years they STILL remember them!
