Won 3-0; Redstorm scored all 3 goals; that #17 was a MEAN young lady...BULLDOZED our goalie but NO RED CARD (and "mowed down our girls ALL night) and I'm guessing our Athletic Director called the police just to be "safe"...I'm pretty sure he escorted the refs to their cars after the game :rolleyes1...TERRIBLE calls tonight! :furious: BIG surprise tonight:oops:...after they introduced the parents of the team members the announcer gave a "huge shout out" to DH and I :goodvibes for attending EVERY game...and taking "such awesome pictures"! :goodvibes:lovestruc And all the girls applauded us! :goodvibes The girls all wore orange hair ribbons (her favorite color) in honor of their teacher that passed away last weekend and they held a moment of silence before the game. :sad1::tink:

We've been "up and down" about planning a November/December trip this year; Redstorm will be a senior and I have SO much to complete before her Graduation and there will be so many extra activities around the holidays. Plus...we already have vacations scheduled in Galveston and Las Vegas this summer. Now that I've read this from an article on Facebook about the expected crowds for Galaxy's Edge I think I'm going to put the holiday trip to rest! :scared:

Experts say to expect Christmas-level crowds all year for at least a year after the area opens. They also say that guests could wait 10 hours just to enter the park and another three to four hours or more to ride either of the above-mentioned attractions. They add that it won’t be uncommon to wait six hours or more during the busiest days.

...or we'll make it a shorter trip and avoid HS all together...and DH would NOT be happy about that :rotfl:...he's a bigger fan of Star Wars than I am! :tink:
