GOOD FOR YOU! My "dentist day" was today too; took the "happy pills", remembered my book for the "down times" but get this..SPENT 3 HOURS IN THE DENTIST CHAIR! My final appointment was for the permanent crown but started having some pain Sunday evening while brushing my teeth. By last night I couldn't even brush on that side . Told the assistant as soon as I got there and informed them I didn't have a clue if it had anything to do with the tooth or MY SINUS...lot of trouble the past few days with stuffy head, runny nose, sinus headache...cedar trees are driving me crazy. They took an x-ray and found a little suspicious area that looked like another root hiding behind a prominent root. After about 10 x-rays , she decided to "go in again" so I ended up with a "mini-root canal"! Added an extra 1 1/2 hours to the visit . Gets that done and starts on a "temporary crown" since I'd already been in the chair almost 2 hours. Things went well so she decided to go ahead and just complete the procedure after giving me a break to walk around and stretch. I REALLY didn't want to have to go back AGAIN since I have 2 other doctors appointments scheduled in the next 2 weeks so I was ready to stick it out and get it done. She wanted me on antibiotics immediately so she called that in around 4:30; got a few groceries and went to pick the pills up but pharmacy was SUPER busy so had to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes! By the end of the day I was in Brenham 9 hours and COULD. NOT. WAIT. TO. GET. HOME. DH had soup ready for my dinner and Redstorm came by around 8:30 for a visit and to take my mind off the "numbness" ...FINALLY getting back to normal. SURE hope your next dentist visit isn't as extensive as mine was!

This is a water fountain and that's all I was looking for since I'm not 100% sure which area this is classified as...Discovery Island or the Oasis. It's close to the Riverside Depot...I remember taking the picture on the way out of AK that evening...

So Sorry, and I thought and hour in the chair was bad! I am glad I am not the only one who hates the dentist. Even cleanings give me the willies.
