IT'S A MONDAY! Damn hawk is back in the backyard so can't let Boo out ; 2 visitors; had to stop payment on a lost check and now discovered there's a water leak at neighbors driveway FLOODING our yards! Wanted to give Boo a bath before the cooler weather filters in (we're scheduled for a temperature drop of 35 degrees this evening...from 70 to 35 ; need to get recycle goods to collection area and wanted to get more lights out of the magnolia tree before the 30+ mph winds.

This is a floor attraction in a park.

Update on my adventures today...sweet lady at the bank didn't charge me to stop payment on original lost check but water leak needed to be fixed by homeowner...my niece. Picture this... ... a 67 year helping her 33 year old niece digging to locate water line..."up to our elbows" in mud , locating the leak and trying to find enough strength to loosen the nuts on the thing that needs to be replaced! Thank goodness DH came to the rescue before we were both "face down in the mud"!

Update on my adventures today...sweet lady at the bank didn't charge me to stop payment on original lost check but water leak needed to be fixed by homeowner...my niece. More "flooding" than we need now since we've (#1) HAD so much rain already and (#2) IT'S RAINING AGAIN! The area where DH parks his 2nd truck has standing water and the poor neighbors had "MUSHY" yard ...her kiddos would run through the area and water would splash up! They have a temporary valve on it now since it got to dark to totally finish the repairs...and with 3 young kids at home she NEEDED water! Have NO idea where the youngest girl found the d*** squirrel but she is SO "sensitive" she just HAD to "give it a proper burial"!

Since my brain is FRIED today I'm scrambling to figure this one out. They're hanging by strings/vines from the "tree branch"...

A little upset because it's one less game for Redstorm to "build up her goals total" but then NOT upset because of the cooler evening predicted tomorrow. They've actually "backed off" the original cold temperatures and wind from what was predicted 36 hours ago but would still be miserable out there. Redstorm didn't care though...she was counting on scoring 4...maybe 5 goals tomorrow night because she know they don't have much defense! I think you should keep Nick home too! Doesn't sound like a good night ahead to be out! At least y'all aren't in mid-America...those temperatures and wind chills are CRAZY!
