Had to laugh when I found this message on my Facebook post of soccer pictures from last night...

"Laura Engelland I need secrets for getting the mud out of the uniforms! Cleats are drying by the heater after being washed in sink, and clothing has been soaked, sprayed, heavy duty cycled....crazy overnight scrambling to get clean by today’s bus route! So.much.mud. On everything. Overall, tho, extremely thankful for no significant injuries on the team."

I'm sure EVERY Soccer Mom was thinking the same thing last light...and this morning!

BEAUTIFUL WEATHER TODAY...still on the cool side but 3:30 game time should be awesome today!

Sun appeared at sunset but still "a little cool" and LOOK AT THE FIELD THEY PLAYED ON!

EVERY mother is doing laundry tonight ...

Very poor lighting on this field and pictures are awful but fun night with even more parents and students there this evening. No goals for Redstorm but game ended in a tie and she was just happy to be out there playing!

Looks like a muddy mess.

You have to remember were are AP and go to the parks all the time. The Fort does have a lot to offer, almost everyone decorates their sites, so you spend almost each night looping around on the golf cart just to look at those. We spent each day resort hopping looking at all their Christmas decor and also an evening at DS. We also did a lot of fishing. The Fort also has canoing, horseback riding, sleigh and wagon rides, boating and more, so you will never have time to just stay at your site, unless that's what you want to do. I posted a bunch of pictures over on the camping thread, but here are a few.

Nice decorations, some people really go all out. I need to move to Florida and buy a camper. My husband would be jealous of those fish.

Late getting back to "play time" this evening; Redstorm came for dinner and wanted pancakes and ham so I made "Mickey pancakes" after we got home . Just look at the difference from yesterday's soccer to today's :

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL day for soccer...but they weren't "beautiful" on the field . SO frustrating...it's like they think since they're playing a 5-6A soccer teams they shouldn't win! Redstorm was NOT happy with her teammates but they're still playing in the final day of the tournament for 8th place. The final day's play is based on points scored during the tournament, not wins so they lucked out there and we have one more game. Quite an improvement though from the 2 previous years. Freshman year it was cancelled after 1 day due to ICE; sophomore year it cancelled due to cold, COLD temperatures (like highs in 20's). This year they started with rain and continue to have muddy fields but today's weather was PERFECT! Coach named 3 seniors to be Captains of the team and the TEAM voted to add REDSTORM ...first chance I had to get a picture of the introductions and coin toss...

Ended up with over 200 pictures today so have a good start on the Team book I want to put together for the seniors this year. And finally got some decent game photos of Redstorm...

...as well as the beginning of "Miss Feisty's" FLIP delivery of the ball...
